Best Schools in Charlotte NC

Determining the best schools in the Greater Charlotte area is not an easy task. Of course Google helps but usually “the best schools in Charlotte” lists is ranked from test scores. I’ve compiled a list of the best schools based on test scores, teacher-parent interaction, student improvement and extra-curricular activities.

Overall the Charlotte public school system has a rating of 6 out of 10 according to greatschools.org. However, this number is overachieved by many public,private, and charter schools in the area that has ratings of 8 to 10. Most of these higher rated schools are in certain areas. Some are rated higher because of their magnet programs and others are rated higher due to more support from parents/community. Check out the list of schools in each category below:
